Italian Minister of Agricolture races against major of a small town

Luca ZAIA, minister in charge of the Agricultural ministery with the actual Berlusconi Government in Italy, got up very early yesterday Sunday 18th to participate at a 12k race trough the country of Codognè in the Treviso Province of  North Eastern Italy.

The neo- elected mayor (seen in the pictures wearing a jellow jacket) dared him to the race.

The minister is in his 43  the mayor is ten years younger.

The race finished with the minister winnin in 1hour and 09 minutes. The mayor came trough the finish line six minutes later saying : ” I let him win to avoid a diplomatic incident” The laughed and cheered each other like the friends they are in real and political lives.
