Mauro per me e’ sempre stato un punto di riferimento quando andavo a prenotare il galletto a Fontanelle, dove lavorava. Mentre aspettavo che arrivasse la profumata confezione con le ottime patatine, mi intrattenevo con Mauro scherzosamente ed era veramente piacevole la sua compagnia. Un sorriso che non mancava mai, una solarita’ unica, che ben si sposava con la sua estrema professionalita’. Non aggiungo altro, se non un saluto e un abbraccio. Nella morte ci hai insegnato cosa significa il coraggio. Non tutti riescono cosi’ bene ad affrontare gli ultimi giorni della propria vita capendo che il tempo a disposizione sta per scadere, senza lamentele ma con una forza d’animo che hai trasmesso a tutti, come hai trasmesso in vita la tua generosita‘, il tuo essere genuino, e il tuo sorriso, che oggi ci manca ma che porteremo sempre nel nostro cuore come un lieto ricordo. Fai buon viaggio Mauro. Le nostre preghiere ti accompagnino ovunque tu vada. Grazie per il tuo grande insegnamento. Non ti dimenticheremo. CODOGNE’La morte improvvisa e inattesa di Mauro Bergamo, 57 anni, di Codogne’, cuoco del popolare ristorante “Gallileo” a Fontanelle ha lasciato sgomenti amici e colleghi di lavoro. La notizia ha fatto rapidamente il giro del paese dove Mauro viveva assieme alla moglie Katia, e dove si e’ spento, attorniato dall’affetto dei suoi cari, tra i quali il figlio Luca, rientrato dalla Germania appena saputo dell’aggravarsi delle condizioni del papa, la mamma Edda, le sorelle Ornella e Loretta. Solo un mese fa, in seguito a degli accertamenti clinici gli era stato diagnosticato un tumore al fegato che non gli ha lasciato scampo. Mauro sapeva quello che aveva e ha vissuto con grande dignita’ e coraggio la sua malattia fino all’ultimo momento. Sua la decisione di passare gli ultimi giorni a casa, vicino ai suoi familiari .Mauro aveva lavorato fino alla chiusura del locale da “Barba Cacciatore” a San Pietro di Feletto dove si era specializzato nel preparare lo spiedo e da nove anni cucinava al Gallileo. Max Cappellotto, il titolare lo ricorda cosi: “Un amico e un lavoratore preciso e instancabile, Una persona di fiducia sulla quale tutti noi potevamo contare, una persona solare sempre con il sorriso e pronto a fare una battuta. Mauro sapeva bene cosa lo aspettava ,non era il tipo da lamentarsi. Ha inviato a me e ai suoi colleghi di lavoro un messaggio vocale per salutarci. Questo dimostra con che coraggio e dignita’ abbia affrontato la malattia” Siamo tutti devastati dal dolore per la perdita di un vero amico, oltre che a un collega preciso e scrupoloso” Tutto era iniziato qualche mese fa quando Mauro, dovendosi sottoporre ad una piccola operazione di routine, aveva eseguito degli esami che consigliavano ulteriori accertamenti. Fatti gli accertamenti ne e’ seguita la sconvolgente diagnosi che il poco tempo lo ha strappato all’affetto dei suoi cari, degli amici e dei colleghi di lavoro: “La tua morte inattesa e rapida lascia un grande vuoto, ciao Mauro, riposa in pace” Si legge su un post scritto dal titolare Max Cappellotto che conclude il post avvisando della chiusura del Gallileo per lutto nella giornata di giovedi: “Avvisiamo i gentili clienti che oggi il locale rimarrà chiuso per Lutto. E’ venuto a mancare il nostro cuoco Mauro Bergamo.

La cerimonia di suffragio verra’ celebrata presso la chiesa nuova sabato 16 luglio alle15.30 . Il Rosario verra’ recitato venerdi’ alle 19.30 nella stessa chiesa. Mauro lascia la moglie Katia, il figlio Luca, la mamma Edda, le sorelle Ornella e Orietta le cognate e gli adorati nipoti.(pio dal cin)

Mauro has been a great example of dignity and courage in confronting his death. Diagnoses with a liver cancer he died in four weeks. He was 57. Before he passed he sent his friend and colleagues a vocal on whatsapp telling them that that was his last message.
