Pope Francis visits the forgotten in Lampedusa Island

by pio dal cin Codognè  Pope Francis is celebrating the Holy Mass, as I write, in an Altar made with a boat used by some of the thousands immigrants that every year try to make it to the European Southernmost point of Lampedusa, an Island that is geographically in Italy but it is closer to African coasts thatn Berlin or Bruxelles. Not only geographically but also politically, since the European Union has done absolutely nothing to help this tiny Island of 5000 people to hel them with the immense flux of people that try to make it here and have perished in the efford by the thousands (20.000 is timid estimate so far)

Pope Francesco asks the Cardinals to share Wisdom with young generations

(by pio dal cin) Pope Francis George Mario Sodano spoke to his “brothers” as he called them the Cardinals that participated to the conclave and exorted them to “Share the Wisdom that comes from aging with the young, like a good wine that gets better as it ages”

He also asked  “Not to give in to the evil tempting us daily not to be happy”. He was then taken to see the apartment left vacant by His predecessor Benedict XVI. He had troubles opening the door, but was helped by the particular secretary of Ratzinger who was very familiar with the lock of the humongous wooden door.

Pope Francis has also asked the people of his parrish in Argentina not to paricipate to the ceremony of his insediamento to be held on March 19th in Saint Peter Square, and to donate the money they would use, to the poor.

His simple ways have conquered everyone. He is the real revolution the Church needed to clean up from ll the scandals in which the Church has been involved lately

When He was to come to Rome to be elected Cardinal by John Paul II he asked the people who collected the money to make the trip to Italy, to give the money in charity to the poor.

George Bergoglio has a though job in front of Him. The scandals of pedophilia, Vatican Leaks and the handling of the most powerful bank in the world owned by theVatican , the Most Secret Bank in the world (IOR).

He will have to find the strenght to fight all these “evils” but He has what it takes. Pope Francis has Italian Origins as he was born in Portacomaro Piedmont before his father emigrated in Argentina.
