With these words Vic Gundotra announced his departure from Google.

“Today I’m announcing my departure from Google after almost 8 years,” wrote Gundotra in a post titled, “I’m also forever in debt to the Google+ team. This is a group of people who built social at Google against the skepticism of so many.”

Just a few hours ago Larry Page answered to Vic’s Post on G+ saying these words:

Vic — thank you for a tremendous almost eight years at Google.  You cut your teeth on our mobile apps and developer relations, turning our disparate efforts into something great.  When I first used turn-by-turn navigation, it blew me away.  And, walking onto the stage at I/O last year, it was amazing to see developers so excited about Google.  These were vintage Vic projects.  Then you built Google+ from nothing.  There are few people with the courage and ability to start something like that and I am very grateful for all your hard work and passion.  I really enjoy using Google+ on a daily basis, especially the auto awesome movies which I really love sharing with my family and friends.  Good luck with your next project after Google.  In the meantime we’ll continue working hard to build great new experiences for the ever increasing number of Google+ fans.”

Google.California Woman gets first ticket for driving with Google Glass

(by pio dal cin) Codognè Treviso  I hate to say that I said that but I saw it coming. If you care reading This old post of mine I predicted some troubles for Glass wearers. +Cecilia Abadie

has posted On her G+ profile of the ticket she got from a California Highway Patrol. Here is what she wrote:

” A cop just stopped me and gave me a ticket for wearing Google Glass while driving!

The exact line says: Driving with Monitor visible to Driver (Google Glass).
Is #GoogleGlass ilegal while driving or is this cop wrong???
Any legal advice is appreciated!! This happened in California. Do you know any other #GlassExplorers that got a similar ticket anywhere in the US?”

Like it or not +Cecilia Abadie  became the first woman in history to get a ticket for wearing +Google  Glass.
Is +Larry Page  going to give a refund on the ticket? or +Vic Gundotra ?  This is going to be interesting to see in the future. Privacy breeches, people getting runned over as they cross busy streets in Manhattan while wearing the Glass. Eye doctors getting an increase of business for Glass wearers with cross eyed view and many more. I’m going to sit here and wait.

(by pio dal cin) Even if India shows the Slowest growth in a decade it still remains one of the richest Countries in the world even if is not listed in the Fifteen richest Countries in  this Forbes report.

India is celebrating its Independence Day and +Google  along with
+Google India  is joining in the party.

Who is celebrating though? A few hundred Indian Billionaires or the masses who are struggling to survive? According to This Huffington Post survey there are 25 million Indian children starving in the Country +Vic Gundotra  so what is there to celebrate really?
The Rape Cases reported here by CNN?

I think that India before celebrating should take care of its huge social problems.

Happy Independence day India ( not today, not yesterday, not tomorrow, but when you’ll be a Country where people won’t die on the street)
